Use the following steps to install an Expert Advisor for automated or algorithmic trading:

Open the MT4 platform and select 'File' from the main menu

Click on 'Open Data Folder' to bring up a new folder panel

Select the 'MQL4' folder, drag the 'Experts' file, and drop your EA file(s) into this folder

Restart MetaTrader 4 for changes to take effect

Check the Navigator panel (press Ctrl+N if not visible)

Your newly installed EA should appear in the list

1. Close and restart your MT4 platform

3. Expand the 'Expert Advisors' section
4. Your newly installed EA should appear in the list

Right-click on the EA in the Navigator panel

Select 'Attach to a Chart' or drag and drop it onto your desired chart

Configure the EA settings in the dialog box that appears

2. Select 'Attach to a Chart' or drag and drop it onto your desired chart
